At Camp JORI, our outstanding program of sports, arts, adventure and special activities are enhanced by our Jewish and Israeli culture and our strong sense of “TACEO”- Taking Care of Each Other. Our campers gain independence, develop friendships, and create memories that will last a lifetime. Our experienced and trained staff provide safety and fun, and make sure each camper is given the opportunity to learn, grow, and have a great experience.
Our camp is located on 75 pristine acres in Wakefield, Rhode Island and is a co-ed Jewish overnight and day camp for children in grades K-10. Campers have the opportunity to explore and grow in an environment that is uniquely Jewish-inspired and values-driven. Camp JORI is the perfect place for your child to make meaningful and lasting friendships. We strive to create an inclusive and supportive community for everyone who joins us.
While every day is packed with fun, many campers especially enjoy the evening activities at JORI including sock wrestling, talent shows, game shows, campfires, dances, movies, and more.

DAY CAMP PROGRAM
Camp JORI Day Camp is perfect for younger campers (Grades K-4) who are ready for many of the components of JORI, but not quite ready for the full overnight experience. The day campers are immersed in the outdoors, swim every day, make friends, build independence, and learn new skills in aquatics, athletics, arts and adventure activities.
Reaching Up is an inclusive program for both Day and Overnight campers with special needs that makes JORI accessible to all children. Campers who may require some additional support in cognitive skills or social-emotional coaching will have that extra staff attention.
