Matt L04/30/20205I went there as a camper for 4 years and have worked there for just as long. I have spent close to half of my life at FLC and every summer still feels as amazing as the first. It’s one of the only places that no matter how long it’s been, you feel like you were there just yesterday.
Michael M10/19/20204.88I grew up going to Forest Lake Camp and worked there in my college years. Later I worked in other camps and outdoor education, plus our two daughters were active in Girl Scouts and attended camps. The later experiences gave me a deep appreciation of the high standards for safety, staff, program, and property management at Forest Lake. As a child it was all I knew and I took it for granted, but as an adult I learned it operated far above the norms. Time and time again I found invaluable the lessons it taught me in those formative years. Also, it's an awesome beautiful environment where the smell of pine, the cold lake water, the starry night skies, and rumble of thunder across the mountain tops will give a life long appreciation of mother nature and her many wonders.
