Swift Nature Camp is the perfect place for your child to spend their summer! Our overnight camp for boys and girls ages 6-15 is located in beautiful Wisconsin. We offer a unique blend of traditional summer camp activities and environmental education to help kids increase their appreciation for nature, science, and the environment. Since 1927, the JCC of Binghamton has been a vital part of the Broome County community. Located south of the University Plaza, the JCC is a dynamic institution, enriching the lives of all ages through its wide variety of services. These range from day care, day camp and youth recreation leagues to aquatics, health and wellness, adult education, social, holiday and cultural programming.

The mission of the JCC is to inspire healthier lives, engaging participants in expanding their minds, and playing an active role in their community. It is open to all, regardless of age, race, religion, sexual orientation, nationality or ability to pay. Reduced rates for Membership are available based on need and availability of funds. As a nonsectarian, United Way partner, the JCC of Binghamton is proud to provide these services to the community.

YMCA Camp Weona

The hard work and dedication of Mel Northrop, Colin Caldwell, and Stephen Smith to start a summer Bible camp for children paid off in July 1952 when the first Camp Li-Lo-Li opened at Allegany State Park. Despite the fact that these three men had never run a camp before, their passion for the ministry inspired them to learn the ins and outs of running a camp and they succeeded in their mission. The camp was named by 11-year-old Betty Carol Northrop in a naming competition and stands for Life-Love-Light, all attributes of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Since 1955, families have trusted THE MOUNT TOM DIFFERENCE to create lasting memories and foster positive youth development. Each group is led by an experienced, professional educator who spends the entire camp day with your children. Campers have the opportunity to participate in over 50 developmentally appropriate activities, including sports, swimming, and arts and crafts. We strive to ensure all campers build positive relationships, take healthy risks, try new activities and increase self-esteem. Parents are welcomed to visit our amazing facility for an initial tour with one of our directors. Upon visiting, many parents are reminded of the true value of a great camp experience and the good feelings from their own childhood camp days. Our camp is designed to make the traditional summer camp experience available to those with special needs, providing a customized experience for children ages 5-21 with developmental disabilities, Autism spectrum disorder, and/or other neurodevelopmental conditions. Our approach combines the fun of typical camp activities such as swimming, arts & crafts, and sports with evidence-based social facilitation techniques to create a comfortable and supportive environment. With a flexible structure that allows each camper’s individual strengths to shine, our campers have the opportunity to make lasting friendships and develop social skills.

For over 60 years, Camp Cedarbrook has been a place of spiritual growth and adventure for girls. At this rustic Christian camp, girls ages 7-17 can discover a unique community of faith and explore who they are in Christ. Through outdoor activities, skill-building workshops, and worship services, campers can gain confidence to face life’s challenges, build relationships, and grow in their relationship with God. 

Camp Cedarbrook is dedicated to creating an environment where your daughter can thrive. Their counselors are passionate, experienced Christian women who will support and guide your child as she navigates her faith journey and builds relationships with her peers. At Camp Cedarbrook, your daughter will have the opportunity to learn new skills, strengthen her relationship with God, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Sky Lake is one of five camp and retreat centers owned and operated by the Upper New York Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church. This camp and retreat center is part of the Camp & Retreat Ministries. It is supervised by The Executive Director of Camp & Retreat Ministries and overseen by the Committee on Camp & Retreat Ministries. At Sky Lake, visitors are encouraged to grow in their relationship with God, be the body of Christ within the world, and live in accordance with the example of Jesus Christ. 

Sky Lake provides a unique and meaningful experience for visitors, providing them with engaging, equipping and empowering activities. Through these activities, visitors are encouraged to build relationships with their neighbors, especially those who have been disenfranchised by mainstream society. The camp and retreat center also strives to develop leadership within the laity and clergy that is diverse yet united by their love for Christ.
