The Gloucester County YMCA is committed to protecting the children we serve. While we cannot eliminate all threats, we want to do what we can to ensure that the children in our care are safe. When entering the Y all members, participants and guests must have a valid picture ID which will be scanned through a national child abuse database. If a sex offender match occurs, the YMCA reserves the right to cancel membership, end program participation, and remove visitation access. We appreciate your cooperation.

The Five Star curriculum is developed to reach all students, whether they be getting over a fear of water or reaching the next level of competitive swimming. Each student is placed into a skill level, based on their age and ability. With our small student to teacher ratios, each student is sure to get plenty of attention. Our lessons focus on skills, safety, and fun. Here at Five Star Swim School, we are focused on details and are constantly improving our teaching techniques. Our programs are specialized with our own unique teaching style and methods. Similar to American Red Cross style of swim, we utilize repetition of drills and each class follows a routine that students get easily accustomed to.
