This Academy was established over 40 years ago by Dr. Peter Kwok, a Grandmaster in the art of Kung Fu, a title reserved for only a handful of individuals alive today. Grandmaster Peter Kwok began learning the secrets of the Shaolin Monks when he was 7 years old and living in China. He spent 32 years learning the secret health methods of the Shaolin Monks, who are still practicing this most ancient of the arts. He has put 5000 years of experience into this Academy.

We are one of the largest training centers in northern NJ for Krav Maga and Tae Kwon Do. Our programs for Tae Kwon Do (traditional Korean style of karate) is a unique and proven mix of conventional systems combined with modern, practical, and realistic self- defense styles of martial arts. We offer programs for young children, teens, and adults of all ages. However, our children and teen classes specialize in character-based and age-specific training. Mental strength, discipline, life skills development, and maturity is just as necessary training as their physical skills training. It’s not just about punching and kicking. For more than 50 years, generations of New Jerseyites have flocked to Pascack Valley Swim Club, seeking refuge from the oppressive summer heat. The swim club, which resides on three acres of woodland, cools things off with two pools, a water slide, and giant umbrellas stuck into the lush lawn. It also features a playground and picnic area, where families can cook hot dogs and burgers on charcoal grills. A wonderful place for families and parties.
