    Pre-K Summer Reading at the Westwood Library (children to age 5)

    It's never too early to make reading a habit. Reading every day to your child is one of the best things you can do as a parent and making regular trips to the library to get "new" books is a habit that can last a lifetime. To give you some ideas on how to engage your young, early reader, download and print the "Reading Bingo" Activity Sheet below, complete any 5 activities with your child, then submit your sheet to the library and choose your prize. You can play up to 5 times - just do not repeat activities. Finally, you must complete the activities and submit your sheet(s) by or before August 11, 2023. Please know prizes are limited - First come, first served.

    Summer Series Music & Movement

    Summer Series Music & Movement: Jiggly Wiggly (children to age 5) Veterans’ Memorial Park Jiggly Wiggly with Ms. Christina is a Westwood summer favorite for little ones to age 5. Bring your own blanket or lawn chairs. If weather is inclement, you will be notified via email of the program's cancellation or relocation. (30 mins)

    We will put on a small production of a play where everyone will get a small part. We will rehearse each week with a final performance at the Summer Reading Finale.on 8/11/23 (45 mins)
