Since 1963, the Hoop Group has been a comprehensive basketball company dedicated to fulfilling dreams of players, coaches and parents by providing the best instruction, competition and exposure. The once head coach at St Anthony High School, Bob Kennedy, ran his first camp at the Trenton CYO in 1963. Almost immediately, he had the pioneering vision of creating a full summer sleep away basketball camp. A few years later, Bob, and his wife Pat, made the leap of faith and purchased Camp Dent Boy Scout camp in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. After a few early struggles, their dream became a reality as the camp began to flourish. Boys and girls from across the country came to this unique setting in the beautiful Pocono Mountains to measure their skills against great competition and learn from the nation's best coaches. From these pioneering roots, the Hoop Group has grown to encompass almost every facet of grassroots basketball. Today our camps, clinics, leagues, tournaments and facilities are an integral part of thousands of players' journeys to college and beyond. Our over 1 million alumni include a Who's Who in basketball…From Bob Knight to Geno Auriema; from Larry Bird to Kevin Durant; from Carol Blazejowski to Sue Bird; from Magic Johnson to Karl Anthony-Towns.

The Neptune Aquatic Center is a 32,000 square-foot, 335,000-gallon pool that will be used for instructional, educational, recreational and therapeutic activities. The interior features an eight-lane competition pool with accessibility for wheelchairs via a zero depth entry. Other features include a 12-foot diving well, a movable bulkhead offering both yard and meter courses, twelve cross-pool lanes, men's and women's locker rooms, and Colorado Timing touch-pads and LED scoreboard. Separate seating for competitors and spectators is provided with lavatory facilities close by to each. The Neptune Aquatic Center is an ecologically responsible and energy efficient building using recyclable materials and incorporating features that will help conserve energy and natural resources. The facility recycles water and heat through a Dectron heat exchange unit, uses buoyancy tanks to hold, clean and re-circulate water from the pool that would otherwise be lost, and to help reduce water consumption and wastewater treatment, waterless urinals are used throughout. As a result of the district's focus on energy efficiency, the Neptune Aquatic Center will realize an approximate 30% operational gain over similar existing structures.

In the 70’s, in Southern California, while Bruce Hogan was in High School, he worked with his father building a boat in the family’s back yard. Bruce’s father also had a full woodshop in the family garage and while his father’s interest was as a hobbyist, Bruce fell in love with working wood. After High School, he attended a trade college in Los Angeles where he earned an associate degree in Cabinetmaking and Millwork. The program provided the foundation for his teaching career and advanced woodworking skills in both traditional and contemporary furniture design. Upon graduating, Bruce apprenticed with a local boat builder. Here he would further develop his knowledge and woodworking skills. He built wooden boats including trimarans, cold molded steam launches, strip- planked boats and even lapstrake boats. Simultaneously, Bruce integrated these specialized skills into his cabinetmaking and furniture design.
