Parents Magazine is proud to introduce Porch Light Productions, a New Jersey theatre company established in 2005. For the past 15 years, Porch Light has been producing professional and educational theatre throughout the Northern New Jersey/New York City area. In 2009, owners Ryan and Jenn Pifher opened a studio and performance space in beautiful Glen Rock, NJ. This 5,000 square foot facility features a black box theatre, large dance studio, and multiple studios and private lesson rooms. For several years, Porch Light's annual line-up included Main Stage plays and musicals for adults, family-friendly shows, live music nights, and classes and programs for all ages. In 2017, Porch Light decided to refocus their mission and place the emphasis on educational theatre programs. Since then, they have become the area's leader in theatre and arts education, reaching thousands of students and audience members each year. Parents looking to get their children involved in the arts can rest assured knowing that Porch Light Productions provides amazing programs and classes for all ages. At Curtain Up Studios, our mission is to introduce and nurture the love of theatre arts to our students. We hold our productions to a high standard, but we value the experience our students have even more. We see a production as a team effort, and each part and position is important to the success of the show. We offer various programming and classes, from ages 5-18, for all levels of experience. Our classes, workshops, and private lessons are offered every season. We also produce full-scale productions 2-3 times a year for our more experienced performers. We collaborate with public and private schools in Bergen and Passaic Counties to bring arts programming and productions to their schools. We work with administrators to create, develop, and implement arts programming tailored to each school’s individual needs. At Curtain Up Studios, our goal is to foster a love of theatre arts in our students. We strive to provide an enjoyable, positive, and educational experience for everyone who joins us, whether they’re taking part on stage or behind the scenes. We consider each part of the production to be equally important, and we work hard to ensure the success of our shows.

At Dance With Me, we believe that dance is not only an art, but a way of life. We strive to help our students reach their goals with a personalized experience. Our instructors are passionate about their craft and are committed to providing the highest quality of dance instruction in a modern, comfortable, and friendly environment. Dance With Me is dedicated to helping our students grow in their dance journey. We have created a unique program of instruction that will help our students reach their personal goals, while having fun and enriching their lives. Our team of professionals works together to ensure that our students have the best experience possible. We strive to provide our students with the highest quality of service and to spread the joys of ballroom dancing throughout the world.

My Gym was born out of our passion to teach children in a fun, physically engaging environment. We delighted in seeing children's eyes light up for all those incredible milestones, from the tentative first steps to tumbling down soft mats. Sharing the parents’ excitement at their children’s accomplishments was the high point of our day. We knew from the start that, through fun and captivating activities, we could accomplish great things. Our goal: To create an environment where children feel loved and supported so their self-esteem and confidence can flourish. Now, more than 35 years later, we’re proud to say that all children of all abilities can succeed and thrive at My Gym. With 700+ locations worldwide, our dream of active, giggling children growing into happy and confident adults has been realized. We cherish every one of our members and are grateful to have each as part of our My Gym family.
