Camp Allen has been serving campers since 1931, when it was founded by the Boston Lions Club and the Manchester Lions Club as a retreat for young girls who were blind. Over the years the mission has expanded to include individuals of all ages and abilities. Today, more than 600 campers attend Camp Allen each summer, for one, two or multiple weeks.

KCPA’s instructors are hand-selected for their qualifications and love for the art form they are teaching. Each instructor has either a Masters Degree or the equivalent professional experience to ensure that their students receive the highest quality education possible. Each instructor creates a safe and supportive environment for their students, allowing them to explore the depths of the art form while also providing the necessary discipline.
