YMCA Camp Harrison at Herring Ridge provides an idyllic escape from the hustle of everyday life. Nestled in the Brushy Mountains of North Carolina, the camp offers more than 2,000 acres of beautiful wooded terrain and streams, complete with a private 140-acre lake. Campers can select from over 21 land activities such as archery, paintball, and ropes courses, and partake in water sports like kayaking and waterskiing. 

For a truly personalized experience, Camp Harrison offers adventure tracks with activities tailored to each individual camper. These activities range from the Dude Ranch to Sportsman to Vet Camp, and more. Mom & Me is a special option for mothers and their children to explore the outdoors together. Beyond the Ridge Teen Leadership focuses on building leadership skills, while Farm to Feast teaches campers about sustainability. Our experienced staff is trained to incorporate evidence-based strategies for supporting people with autism into all elements of our program. We are proud to be a part of our campers' and staffs' journeys and to have had a positive impact on their lives.

Camp Willow Run is located on Lake Gaston in northeastern North Carolina, providing a breathtaking backdrop for a unique Christian camp experience. Campers can stay in actual boxcars that have been converted into heated and air-conditioned dormitories, as well as an authentic 1911 steam engine and caboose. The camp's three-fold purpose is to win youth to Christ, help mature those who are already Christians, and demonstrate that you can be a Christian and have fun. Camp Illahee has been a place of growth and discovery since 1921, when Hinton and Francis McLeod established a unique environment for young women to thrive.  The camp’s commitment to its campers is stronger than ever, with its current directors, Gordon and Laurie Strayhorn, continuing the legacy of the McLeods.  Camp Illahee’s focus is always on the campers, and the Strayhorns are dedicated to making sure each camper feels recognized and heard.  With their individual attention and commitment to the campers, the Strayhorns are helping to ensure that Camp Illahee will remain a place of growth and discovery for many years to come.

At the MSA Swim School, we strive to create an environment where children feel safe and can learn to love the water. We recognize the importance of offering positive reinforcement and praise, and we believe this can help foster a child’s curiosity and passion for swimming. Our specialized swimming instruction is tailored to children ages three and up, from those who are just getting started to those who are already experienced swimmers. We have designated areas for swimming lessons, so each child and parent can take comfort in knowing they have their own space. We also provide safety and survival skills for those who need them, as well as refined instruction for those looking to join a competitive swim team.
