The Children’s Center is a top-notch early education and childcare facility located in Woburn, Massachusetts. Accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), it is licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) and provides full-time, year-round childcare and preschool education to children aged four weeks to five years. Low and moderate-income families can benefit from subsidized tuition assistance on a sliding scale basis. At World of Wonder Preschool, we offer a part-time program with morning session options of 8:30 – 11:30 or 8:30 – 12:30. Our curriculum is designed to meet the individual needs of each child and encompass three levels: Nursery, Pre-Kindergarten, and Transition. Nursery is offered in two levels and Pre-Kindergarten is offered in three levels. To ensure the health and safety of our students, we have an office manager in the front office and a part-time health consultant / nurse on staff to update student’s medical records. At Moppets, our curriculum is designed to work in a building block format, using prior knowledge to learn further. Our theme-based curriculum incorporates seven learning content areas that support and gently extend the children's learning environment, ensuring children grow in all areas of development. We believe that children learn best by doing, not by merely repeating what someone says. Through active thinking and experimenting through hands-on play, children will create social relationships, work on physical development, language and literacy, science and math, art and creative expression as well as social studies. ASL (American Sign Language) is also part of our curriculum in all age groups. At Moppets, we strive to create a learning environment that is clean, organized and easily navigated to promote creativity and independence. Our teachers observe the children and adjust the curriculum to suit the individual development of the class.
