The Dance Studio of Wakefield was founded by the Moore sisters, Diane Abraham, Susan Edson, and Peggy Cerulo. For those who wish to take their commitment to the next level, there is a competitive and performance Dance Team. All of the classes and programs are included in the studio's annual recital held in Wakefield.

At the Boys & Girls Clubs of Stoneham & Wakefield, every year nearly 3,000 youth aged 5 to 18 come through our doors seeking stability, consistency, and safety. Since opening in 1973, we have served generations of children and families in the local community and across Greater Boston. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Stoneham & Wakefield is an affiliate of Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the nation’s leading youth development organization. With over 50 years of experience in martial arts, Louis DiBiccari is the founder, owner and operator of the longest running martial arts school in Wakefield. Beyond Self Defense has been in its current location since 1989 and is a proud member of the International Ryukyu Karate Research Society. Louis DiBiccari is an experienced martial arts master, having studied and trained for over 50 years. His journey began at age 19 and since then, Louis has developed an impressive understanding of the martial arts. His dedication to the craft has allowed him to launch and operate Beyond Self Defense, the longest running martial arts school in Wakefield. Beyond Self Defense is an accredited member of the International Ryukyu Karate Research Society and has been in its current location since 1989.
