About Beyond Self Defense in Wakefield, MA
With over 50 years of experience in martial arts, Louis DiBiccari is the founder, owner and operator of the longest running martial arts school in Wakefield. Beyond Self Defense has been in its current location since 1989 and is a proud member of the International Ryukyu Karate Research Society. Louis DiBiccari is an experienced martial arts master, having studied and trained for over 50 years. His journey began at age 19 and since then, Louis has developed an impressive understanding of the martial arts. His dedication to the craft has allowed him to launch and operate Beyond Self Defense, the longest running martial arts school in Wakefield. Beyond Self Defense is an accredited member of the International Ryukyu Karate Research Society and has been in its current location since 1989.

Programs at Beyond Self Defense in Wakefield, MA
BeAKid
Adaptive Students
Martial arts program for students that are physically and or academically challenged between the ages of 13 and 21. We will guide these students to a level beyond your expectations. Students must be able to work in a group setting. This class is perfect for challenged students, because the Japanese teach by route. The repetitive nature of the classes work very well with students who have diffuclty with memory and coordination. Students will learn discipline and how to cooperate with others in a fun and positive setting.
