About Milton Art Center

At the MAC, we believe that art has the power to bring people together, regardless of ethnicity, religion, or age. Through our classes and gallery meeting space, we are able to provide a space for all to come together and learn, appreciate, and enjoy art. We offer a variety of classes, from painting and drawing to jewelry-making and pottery, and our gallery space features amazing local talent. At the Milton Art Center, we are committed to creating a space where our community can come together and celebrate the beauty of the arts. We strive to create an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere that encourages creativity and collaboration. We believe that art is an essential part of our lives, and we are proud to offer a place where we can all come together to appreciate and learn from it.

Kids Art Classes
Note: Tucker and Glover parents/guardians, if you are coming crosstown for class, the instructor waits to give instruction. The first 10 minutes of class is sketching out ideas.

KIDS SUMMER ART CAMPS
Our art teachers engage children’s imaginations and feelings using open-ended instruction, allowing children to enjoy the process of creation and the pride of accomplishment. The act of exploring and trying new ideas develops a child’s mind as a critical thinker and problem solver. Creating art builds confidence and helps develop decision-making. Our program treats students as artists; their artistic thinking and creativity are strengthened through the philosophy of Teaching for Artistic Behavior, TAB.

Adult / Teen Classes
We consider our local community arts organization offering access to continuing arts education and opportunities for meeting people with shared interests as a benefit to our town, equivalent to a park or green space, for its capacity to improve our mental health and enhance satisfaction with our quality of life.
