Tae Kwon Do is more than just an art of self-defense; it is a way of life. Through this ancient form of martial arts, children will learn the values of physical fitness, self-confidence, self-respect, patience, mental alertness, respect, and spiritual well-being. With classes offered at Britt's Tae Kwon Do, kids can build life skills while having fun.

Parents are encouraged to train with their children. Family rates are available. When a parent coaches their children in sports such as hockey, baseball, soccer, etc., the parent is still in charge of the child, whereas when parents train at Britt's Tae Kwon Do with their children, they are training side by side as equals. This can help to elevate the self-esteem of the child as they may excel in some areas that the parents don't. While adults may have the advantage of size and strength, children have more speed, flexibility, and agility, and all these qualities are equally important in Tae Kwon Do. Training together as a family often brings families closer, since it is something they can do together on a regular basis.
