Ken P05/25/20225I adore traveling! The wild flower garden is lovely and bustling with bees and butterflies. Even though there were no jammers in the jam kitchen, I could still clearly visualize stirring strawberry jam on a hot day and enjoying the satisfaction of arranging my finished jars. I can usually find a present for someone on my list at the gift shop. It is a true treasure of Sandwich.
Emily U06/24/20225Beautiful place to explore the outdoors. A short trek around the property is beneficial for learning about and observing nature (plants, turtles, birds). This is the place to be if you have young children who are interested in the outdoors (or producing jam!).
Marie C06/25/20225We were interested to see the sign for homemade jams. We were not let down. The mercantile store had easily a dozen or more different kinds of homemade jams. Despite the fact that it is still early in the season, the wildflower garden was also really gorgeous. End of May or early June would be the ideal times to watch it. Absolutely worth the journey.
Stacey D07/23/20225wonderful historical location The Peter Rabbit house. In the teaching center throughout the summer, there are many animals, including Peter himself, some of which you can pet or hold. The front and rear gardens are both stunning, and there is a pond as well. If you're lucky, you'll catch a glimpse of the swan family swimming. They have a fantastic gift shop where you can buy jams, jellies, souvenirs, and collectible Sandwich cup plates. They also offer jam making workshops. Definitely make a stop when you're in Sandwich!
