For families looking to get more involved in their community, the Parks and Recreation Department offers a range of activities. Every June 14th, the Department and Flag Day Committee run the Flag Day Parade, a colorful celebration of patriotism. In the fall, Dedham Day takes place at Memorial Park with the help of the Friends of Dedham Recreation and the Friends of The Dedham Pool. Additionally, the Police Department and Parks and Recreation Department team up to provide an exciting Bike Rodeo at St Mary's parking lot. There are lots of ways to get connected with your community: the Parks and Recreation Department has something for everyone. Whether you’re interested in the Flag Day Parade, Dedham Day, or the Bike Rodeo, you’ll be sure to find an activity that suits you.
