The Home for Little Wanderers has a long history of providing essential services to the community, starting as an orphanage in 1799. Today, they offer over 25 programs that help families and children in need. These programs include behavioral and mental health services, therapeutic residential care, family treatment and support, foster care and adoption, special education and programs for older youth aging out of the system. These services all come from the combination of five child welfare organizations: Boston Children’s Services, The New England Home for Little Wanderers, Parents’ and Children’s Services, Charles River Health Management and Wediko Children’s Services. For over two centuries, The Home for Little Wanderers has been a vital part of the community, providing help and support to those in need.

At Music at the Blissful, children are exposed to a variety of music genres. Whether their preference is rock, pop, jazz, or classical, Evan has something for everyone. He encourages children to develop their creativity and expand their musical knowledge. Music classes are tailored to each child’s individual needs and interests to create a truly unique experience. Evan also offers interactive music experiences for the whole family. From baby music classes to young children’s music classes, parents can join in on the fun and help their children learn. Music classes are designed to provide a positive, nurturing environment, where children can explore and create music in a safe and supportive space. Our center provides a stimulating environment for learning, with age-appropriate classrooms from infants through Preschool. Introducing Little Groove classes - a fantastic way to help your little one have fun and reach important developmental milestones. Our classes are taught by an amazing team of certified Little Groove music instructors and professional teaching artists who all sing and play guitar. Each activity has its own learning objective, designed specifically for children aged 3 months up to 4 years. Not only do we do musical activities, but also have a range of fun educational toys for your child to enjoy, such as stacking cups, balls, trains, cars, pom poms, large Legos, bubbles, a parachute, and colored scarves. With Little Groove, your child will be sure to have a blast while learning!

Our campers receive top-notch instruction in sports and swimming, allowing them to expand their skills and stay active. Additionally, we provide unique opportunities for children to explore their community and develop meaningful connections with other campers. Our focus is on the holistic development of the child, so they can take the skills and memories they make at camp with them for years to come. At the Y, we understand the importance of providing a safe and secure environment for our campers. Our camp is regularly monitored by qualified staff and safety is our first priority. We also strive to provide a healthy atmosphere for our campers, offering nutritious snacks and drinks and encouraging physical activity. At the Y, we prioritize the learning and development of our campers. Through interactive activities and games, we teach children how to form collaborative relationships and become part of a team. We also provide unique opportunities for campers to explore their community and gain valuable life skills. Our campers leave with a sense of accomplishment and great memories of their time at the Y Day Camp.
