Einstein's Workshop is a hands-on community center where kids create, explore, and enjoy Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. During the summer, we offer STEAM camps for kids entering Kindergarten through 9th grade. Camp topics include Minecraft, LEGO robotics, 3D printing, Dungeons&Dragons, science, math, chess, programming, game learning, digital art, making, inventing, and engineering. During the school year we offer classes on the same topics and coach FIRST LEGO League teams. We host birthday parties for lovers of Minecraft, LEGO, and hands-on fun! We also offer drop-in hours for spontaneous play in our STEAM Play Space.

The Home for Little Wanderers has a long history of providing essential services to the community, starting as an orphanage in 1799. Today, they offer over 25 programs that help families and children in need. These programs include behavioral and mental health services, therapeutic residential care, family treatment and support, foster care and adoption, special education and programs for older youth aging out of the system. These services all come from the combination of five child welfare organizations: Boston Children’s Services, The New England Home for Little Wanderers, Parents’ and Children’s Services, Charles River Health Management and Wediko Children’s Services. For over two centuries, The Home for Little Wanderers has been a vital part of the community, providing help and support to those in need.
