MSPCC's work to prevent child abuse revolves around promoting nurturing, stable environments for children. We strive to support families in their efforts to prevent adverse childhood experiences and intervene when trauma has occurred. Our mission is to ensure that every child is safe and secure, free from abuse and neglect, and able to grow and thrive in their own homes and communities. We are dedicated to providing the necessary resources to empower parents and caregivers, and to advocate for changes in legislation and public policy that will protect children.
Child, Youth, and Family Behavioral Health Services
Our Child, Youth, and Family Division embrace a “Wraparound” system of care in our behavioral health services. By focusing on the strengths and needs of each individual family, our Wraparound approach increases a family’s sense of confidence, helps them acquire new skills for supporting their child’s special needs, and accesses the necessary resources to build a supportive community network.
