At Camp Millhouse, we believe that all individuals with special needs should have the opportunity to experience the joys of camp. Our mission is to provide a safe and traditional camp experience with the goal of inspiring self-discovery in our campers. Through a variety of activities, we help campers to develop new skills, enhance self-confidence, and learn to be independent. We strive to create a sense of community and acceptance while fostering growth and development in a positive and compassionate environment. Empowerment~Independence~Compassion.
It is a Camp Millhouse tradition for our Program Staff to lead 2 fun filled camp fire programs each week! On Sunday evenings, we begin our week by gathering around the fire to get to know each other while we dance and sing along to all of our favorite camp songs! The Counselors in each cabin create a special song to introduce each of their campers to the rest of the group, and on extra special occasions, we even get to make s'mores!

Train Rides
For many years, the Lions Club of Greene Township has provided a weekly ride to our campers.
For many campers, the train is the highlight of their week.
Thank you Lions Club for bringing so much joy to our campers year after year!

Thursday Dances
Thursday night dances have become something that campers continue to look forward to year after year! Once a week for our Evening Program, campers and staff make their way into the Rec Hall to show off their dance moves and enjoy some great music with friends.

Low Ropes Challenge Course
We have our very own low ropes challenge course that is adaptable for all needs! We get out there at least once a week to give every camper the unique and unforgettable experience of completing a challenging course. Many campers have never done anything like it before and feel a huge sense of accomplishment from overcoming each element's specific challenge.
