The Wheaton Park District offers a Swim Lesson Program for families and individuals of all abilities. The program is available at both Rice Pool & Water Park and Northside Family Aquatic Center. For those with special needs, Rice Pool & Water Park is an accessible site for recreation, providing a safe and fun place to swim and participate in swim lessons. In order to ensure the best possible experience for participants, the Wheaton Park District reserves the right to add or cancel weeklong class sessions before their start date. This is due to a variety of potential reasons, such as low enrollment or other issues that may arise. The Wheaton Park District offers a variety of swim lesson programs to help individuals and families feel safe, comfortable, and confident in the water. We understand the importance of providing a quality swim lesson experience and are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants.

At ATA Black Belt Academies, we understand the importance of teaching children the physical and mental benefits of Tae Kwon Do. At DuPage Art League, our mission is to provide the community with a creative learning center that encourages the exploration and appreciation of the visual arts. Our not-for-profit organization offers a variety of classes and workshops that cater to all ages and skill levels, so everyone can find something that piques their interest. We also host gallery exhibits and free public fine arts programs that allow our artists to show off their work in commercial and public buildings. In addition, we provide financial endowments to public institutions of arts education and scholarships to students. This historic and picturesque golf course has been an important part of the surrounding community for more than 150 years. It all began when Mr. C. Frankinhim, in the 1850s, erected the original stone building on the property with stones brought from Plainfield, Illinois. After Mr. Frankinhim's barn burned down late in the 1800s, the property was taken over by Matt Kammes, and then in 1905 it was purchased by John Brown. In 1924 the farm was turned into a golf course, the first of its kind in the area, and named the Antlers Club. The tees and greens were constructed first, followed by ponds that, when viewed from the air, resembled a pair of antlers. This earned the course its new name, Arrowhead Golf Club, in 1929 due to the many Native American artifacts found on the site during its construction. In 1967 the West Course was built, bringing the number of holes up to 27. In 1982, the Wheaton Park District bought the property from the Jansen family in order to preserve it as a major recreational area for the community. The golf course has seen many updates over the past few decades, including the addition of hundreds of trees and the renovation of the East Course, South Course, and West Course. These renovations were directed by Ken Killian, who is best known for his design of Kemper Lakes Golf Club in Hawthorne Woods, Illinois. The learning center also opened in 1990 as part of the East Course renovation. The Arrowhead Golf Club has become a beloved and iconic part of the neighborhood and continues to provide a unique and enjoyable golfing experience for many.

At Jerry Evans School of Music, we strive to provide the highest quality music education to students of all levels throughout the Chicagoland area. Our instructors have earned their bachelors or masters degrees from renowned institutions and are passionate about teaching music. From classical to pop, jazz to musical theatre, students can learn any style they desire. We ensure each student receives a quality education that exceeds expectations. At JESM, we also provide students with an environment of fun and excitement. We offer student concerts, rock band classes, workshops and performances outside of school. Pathways For Achievement was established by Dr. Langlas in 1996 with the goal of providing Tae Kwon-Do training to youth and families in need, and regardless of ability to pay. Donations are essential to keep Pathways’ program alive, and provide scholarships for reduced cost or free training. The organization is dedicated to making sure that everyone has the opportunity to take part in the benefits of Tae Kwon-Do training. Pathways Taekwon-Do does not focus on making great fighters, but rather providing a safe and supportive environment where students can develop into productive members of their community. Instructors take into account the individual needs of each student, regardless of age or ability, and provide instruction that is tailored to their skills and goals. The mission of Pathways Taekwon-Do is to create an environment for participants to learn, grow, and give back to their communities. With the generous donations of supporters, the program is able to provide scholarships and ensure that all participants, regardless of financial ability, are able to experience the benefits of Tae Kwon-Do.

Established in 1921, the Wheaton Park District is now home to an impressive 800 acres of parkland across 52 sites. These parks provide locals with a wealth of recreational opportunities, from early childhood programs to senior activities.
