About Ata Karate

At ATA Black Belt Academies, we understand the importance of teaching children the physical and mental benefits of Tae Kwon Do. Our certified instructors are dedicated to the philosophy that "Every kid is a winner" and "Every kid is special." Our staff is regularly trained in the latest motivation and teaching systems, and parents can expect to see an improvement in their children's self confidence and self esteem. Classes are designed to be fun and engaging, while still teaching respect, courtesy, discipline, and improving attention span. We also strive to introduce students to an ongoing lifetime sport and to teach them to have "Black Belt Excellence" in all areas of their life. With over 1500 branches and 300,000 students, the American Tae Kwon Do Association is a nationally recognized organization that provides a safe, positive learning environment for people of all ages.

TINY TIGERS Ages 3-6
Our Tiny Tiger program is based on lifetime learning skills, as well as the physical aspects. This class is desgined to enhance motor skills as well as improving attention skills. Our basic building blocks for the Tiny Tiger program are monthly themes that include Courtesy, Respect, Self-Confidence, and Perseverence!

Karate for Kids Ages 6-11
Our Karate for Kids program is focused on teaching the basic fundamentals of self-defense and self- confidence. All Karate for Kids classes use safe, fun, and exciting instruction methods and encourage students to actively participate in acheiving their goals!

Tae Kwon Do for Adults Ages 12+
Adults participate in Tae Kwon Do for many reasons. It is a great tool for physical fitness, and it also provides a basic knowledge of self-defense! Our program empowers students with not only the physical ability to ensure safety, but mental benefits as well. Our classes are perfect for all adults, no matter the fitness level or age!
