Meet Master Geoffrey Rackebrandt, a martial arts maestro who has been honing his craft for over 32 years. Starting teaching at the tender age of 13, Master Geoff has since been imparting knowledge and instilling confidence in the students of Fort Myers for the past 14 years. His expertise covers no less than 8 different martial arts disciplines, and together with Mr. Jorge Patt, they have created the most comprehensive and complete martial arts program in the region. Master Geoff is a firm believer in the idea that the real value of martial arts lies in the knowledge and the ability to execute techniques properly, rather than just receiving belt rankings. This is a philosophy that he instills in all of his students, pushing them to strive for excellence and growth.

At San Carlos Park Scorpion Soccer Club, we provide a safe, fun and educational environment teaching the fundamentals of the sport. We promote physical activity, competition, sportsmanship, teamwork and camaraderie. Since 1980, San Carlos Park Scorpion Soccer Club has been a cornerstone of the South Lee County community. Our average of 700 boys and girls who register each year is a testament to our success. We are proud to offer a staff of passionate volunteers who are dedicated to the athletic and social development of our children. Our goal is to provide a safe, fun and educational environment for our youth, teaching them the fundamentals of the sport and how to apply the values of physical activity, competition, sportsmanship, teamwork and camaraderie.

Magnante, the owner, is the son of Mickey Magnante, the accordionist who opened the business in Framingham MA in the 1960s. David Magnante took over the business in 1984 after attending Boston College. He moved the shop to Fort Myers in 1971, opening its first location downtown in Patio de Leon. David makes sure to give each customer a personal experience by running a hands-on business and being in the shop almost everyday. He caters to musicians of all levels, from beginners to professionals, and his selection of accordions is one of the best in the country.

Amy Maneval Wymer has 20+ years of experience as a private teacher. She is committed to providing every student with an individualized approach that meets their specific needs and learning styles. Wymer received her Suzuki Method training from the Suzuki-Kingston Institute at Queens University in Kingston, Ontario. She holds a degree in Music from Penn State University, Kendall College and Elmira College with an emphasis on private teaching and performing.

At Guitar Studio, we have been providing music education to the Ft. Myers / Cape Coral / Sanibel FL area for the past 20 years. Our guitar and music lessons are tailored to all ages and skill levels, and we offer instruction in a wide range of instruments, including guitar, bass, banjo, mandolin, violin, cello, ukulele, voice piano and keyboards, drums and more. The atmosphere in our studio is warm and inviting, and our lessons are designed to be both enjoyable and productive. We work hard to ensure our students gain confidence, creativity, and a rewarding experience.

In 2018 we moved to a much larger facility just off of I-72. We are now in a 20,000 sq ft building that has everything we need to host an amazing competition season. We've grown from three athletes in 2012 to over 200 in 2020. It all began in 2012 at a small gym in Auburn, Illinois. Three athletes started the competition season at the aptly-named Small Gym, Big Heart. As the program grew, the gym was upgraded to a larger, more efficient space on the south side of Springfield. However, the parking lot was unable to accommodate the increasing number of participants. Eventually, in 2018, Small Gym, Big Heart moved to a much larger facility off I-72. The facility is now 20,000 square feet, providing all the necessary accommodations to host a successful competition season. In the eight years since its inception, Small Gym, Big Heart has grown from three athletes in 2012 to over 200 in 2020.
