It was clear a new and larger facility was needed. Thanks to the collaborative effort of community members and local governments, the dream of a major performing arts center in Fort Lauderdale and Broward County became a reality in 1991. The Broward Center for the Performing Arts was opened with a grand performance of The Phantom of the Opera. This iconic facility has served as a cultural cornerstone in the community ever since, playing host to world-renowned musicians, singers, dancers, actors, and other performers from all over the world.

The Museum of Discovery and Science welcomes individuals from all walks of life to visit, experience, connect and discover inspiring science. We support all family structures, creating a culture of hospitality where diversity is celebrated. Our doors are open to everyone: individuals and families with physical, sensory and emotional disabilities and disparities in education, social and economic status. Science Eye's Science Safaris provide students with the opportunity to explore science in a way that is engaging and educational. Through hands-on exploration, students gain a better understanding of the scientific process, as well as a deeper appreciation for the natural world. Since 1985, the Science Eye has been helping educators and students across the United States experience science in an exciting, hands-on way. Their Science Safaris offer an immersive simulation of real-life scientific exploration, allowing students to take on a scientist's identity and explore the classroom or field in a unique and engaging way. These programs are designed to be comprehensive, covering an entire area of science or a specific specialty, and can range from a few hours to several weeks. By providing students with the opportunity to explore science in a hands-on way, Science Eye's Science Safaris give them a better understanding of the scientific process and a greater appreciation for the natural world. Through these programs, a half-million students have had the chance to experience science in a thrilling and educational way.

At Weston Racquet Club, they provide a spacious and comfortable facility for their guests. With 16 courts, 15 of which are hydro-clay courts, one championship hard court, 4 pickleball courts, and 2 padel courts, there’s plenty of room to enjoy a game. To ensure the comfort of their guests, the Club also provides men’s and women’s showers and lockers, a covered patio area for relaxation, and a newly remodeled pro shop that is fully stocked with Head racquets, shoes, and clothing. At British Swim School, we understand that learning to swim is a life skill that can help protect your loved ones. That’s why we provide a safe, fun, and effective learn-to-swim program for people of all ages. We’re proud to be the premier swim provider for children ages 3-months through adults, and our survival-first approach ensures that everyone learns the vital safety skills they need to be safe in and around water. Florida Children’s Theatre (FLCT) is an amazing 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that has been proudly serving the children and families of South Florida since 1952. Founded by two mothers in a garage, the theatre quickly grew to become the first cultural organization in Broward County to purchase its own building and to perform at the Parker Playhouse, the Broward County Library Theatre, and the Dillard Center for the Arts. Today, FLCT offers a wide range of educational programming including five mainstage productions, year-round classes in acting and creative drama, summer camps, and many other performances and outreach programs. With its headquarters at the Fine Arts Theatre at Broward College Central Campus in Davie, FLCT is able to reach over 25,000 individuals each year.
