At the Bradenton YMCA, we are proud to serve the Manatee County community. We first opened our doors in 1977 after the Bradenton Kiwanis Club donated a five acre site and a small metal building. As we grew, the community was there to support us and in 1983 we built a full facility with locker rooms, offices, and an outdoor pool. Since then, we have continued to expand and develop our facility, adding a group exercise room, indoor pool, fitness center, teen center, child care area, game room, and cycling room. Our goal is to provide a safe, fun, and welcoming environment for all of our members. We are excited to continue to grow and serve our community for years to come.

JUMP Dance Company is celebrating their 16th year of providing the Lakewood Ranch/Sarasota area with quality dance education. Jeong: GM Jeong is a 5th degree black belt certified by Kukkiwon. She has been teaching Taekwondo since she was a student in South Korea. She is a passionate teacher, emphasizing the importance of the physical and mental aspects of Taekwondo, as well as the importance of courtesy, respect, confidence, and leadership. She has trained numerous students of all ages and has been involved in various Taekwondo tournaments and camps in both South Korea and the United States. Grand Master Lee and Jeong: As a Taekwondo family, Grand Masters Lee and Jeong have a unique philosophy of combining the family-like environment with martial arts education to promote the necessary and crucial components of body and mind like courtesy, respect, confidence, and leadership. Their dedication to perfecting the purest form of Taekwondo has led them to become world class award-winning martial artists. As the first Taekwondo major graduates from Keimyong University, they have committed their entire lives to helping students of all ages cultivate their physical and mental health while learning the principles of Taekwondo.

Welcome to Camp Honi Hanta, a 123-acre paradise located on the shores of the Braden River. With its beautiful, natural property, it's no wonder why it's called “Home on the River.” This camp offers a wide variety of activities, including walking trails, a sports field, a swimming pool, archery range, river access for kayaking and canoeing, a ropes course and climbing wall, and an air-conditioned lodge with a small commercial kitchen, restrooms, and shower facilities. With a total camp capacity of 178, there's plenty of room to explore and have fun! At Camp Honi Hanta, your children will have a blast participating in the many activities available. They can explore the walking trails, take a dip in the pool, practice their archery skills, or rent a kayak or canoe and paddle around the river. For more daring adventurers, the ropes course and climbing wall offer a unique challenge. And when it's time to rest, the air-conditioned lodge and cozy sleeping accommodations await. Camp Honi Hanta is the perfect place for children of all ages to have a fun and exciting outdoor experience. Alex Martin's creative vision and scientific background is what drives the success of Experience Daliona. He created the fictional organization in 2015 to explore the world of his book series beyond the pages. In 2018, he founded the Sidewalk Science Center in Savannah, Georgia, providing those in the area with free science education in public spaces. Through the website, book series, and Science Center, Alex has created a platform for readers to engage with the narrative he created in an enjoyable and educational way.
