Some say it’s because he used too much sticky syrup one day. He strolls around with a wooden spoon in one hand and a magical spatula in the other, teaching the kids the art of transforming ordinary ingredients into extraordinary dishes. These endearing kiddo chefs, with their aprons on and wooden spoons at the ready, navigate the kitchen like tiny pirates on a treasure hunt. The sound of their laughter echoes through the kitchens, louder than the sizzle of the frying pans. They chop veggies faster than you can say "Alligator Pie!" and can whip up a bowl of cookie dough faster than a rabbit hops! Welcome to Camp Honi Hanta, a 123-acre paradise located on the shores of the Braden River. With its beautiful, natural property, it's no wonder why it's called “Home on the River.” This camp offers a wide variety of activities, including walking trails, a sports field, a swimming pool, archery range, river access for kayaking and canoeing, a ropes course and climbing wall, and an air-conditioned lodge with a small commercial kitchen, restrooms, and shower facilities. With a total camp capacity of 178, there's plenty of room to explore and have fun! At Camp Honi Hanta, your children will have a blast participating in the many activities available. They can explore the walking trails, take a dip in the pool, practice their archery skills, or rent a kayak or canoe and paddle around the river. For more daring adventurers, the ropes course and climbing wall offer a unique challenge. And when it's time to rest, the air-conditioned lodge and cozy sleeping accommodations await. Camp Honi Hanta is the perfect place for children of all ages to have a fun and exciting outdoor experience.
