He leads his team of Krazies with splashing enthusiasm, navigating through the trickiest mangroves, outpaddling the fastest water snakes, and even outsmarting the occasional grumpy gator. These kids have turned kayaking into a way of life. They splash, they laugh, they munch on gooey marshmallows roasted over a bonfire on an island that they swear is haunted by a pirate parrot who has a thing for karaoke. Welcome to Camp Honi Hanta, a 123-acre paradise located on the shores of the Braden River. With its beautiful, natural property, it's no wonder why it's called “Home on the River.” This camp offers a wide variety of activities, including walking trails, a sports field, a swimming pool, archery range, river access for kayaking and canoeing, a ropes course and climbing wall, and an air-conditioned lodge with a small commercial kitchen, restrooms, and shower facilities. With a total camp capacity of 178, there's plenty of room to explore and have fun! At Camp Honi Hanta, your children will have a blast participating in the many activities available. They can explore the walking trails, take a dip in the pool, practice their archery skills, or rent a kayak or canoe and paddle around the river.
