Mozart for Munchkins offers a unique musical experience for young children and their families. At the Yellow Farmhouse Education Center, we want to make sure that everyone has access to food that is grown and cooked well. We aim to preserve and celebrate the cultural and culinary heritage that is unique to our community, and we believe that by teaching people how to cook and share meals, we can build strong relationships and foster a vibrant culture. We offer a variety of programs to help spread our message. We have professional development classes for teachers, cooking classes and workshops for both children and adults, and we even provide workshops and field trips to school groups. Our goal is to create a space where everyone can enjoy and appreciate good food and the craft of cooking. We strive to provide educational programming that will educate people about the importance of celebrating and valuing the food we eat and the culture that it comes from.

At the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center, we believe that exploring the great outdoors is an essential part of growing up. We offer a unique opportunity for families to explore 300 acres of outdoor sanctuary, complete with 10 miles of trails and two locations connected by a greenway. At DPNC, we strive to give children a better understanding of the natural world and their place in it. Our year-round programs are designed to help create an environmental ethic, giving families the chance to discover the wonders of nature together.
