The Southington Public Library has been an integral part of the community for over 115 years. From 1902 to 1975 the Library was housed in a Carnegie Mellon-style building which is still standing just across the street from the current building. When the Library outgrew that space, a new building was erected at 255 Main Street. Plans are now underway for a much-needed expansion of the current space.
The Library offers free programs and services designed to meet the specific needs of our town and we welcome comments and suggestions on how we can better serve Southington. Come to the Library and let us know what we can do for you.
