As we start this Fall Semester 2021, we hope that everyone is safe and healthy. We want to extend our deepest sympathies to our beloved school founder, Mr. Alan Sheff, who sadly lost his wife of 48 years, Ronna, in March. We are thankful for Mr. Sheff’s courage and strength during this difficult time. We are also grateful for Sara Slocum for stepping in and managing the day-to-day operations of the school while Mr. Sheff was caring for Ronna. In memory of Ronna, Mr. Sheff is in the process of starting a dance scholarship in her name to honor her commitment to dance. We look forward to learning more about this scholarship in the future. We are also thrilled to announce that the school has relaxed its mask protocol for the Fall Semester. Masks will be required for unvaccinated students and parents, as the safety of our students and faculty is of utmost importance. In other exciting news, we’ve just completed our new Podcast Studio! Every Tuesday night, Jon Peckman will be hosting his weekly podcast, which will feature a variety of musical topics and interviews with our faculty and special guest artists.
