For 40 years, Kidz Love Soccer has been helping kids develop their physical abilities, build self-confidence, and learn the importance of good sportsmanship. Welcome to our highly successful training center, where our world-class trainers and coaches offer instruction in a variety of ice sports. Our training center caters to a variety of hockey organizations, including Mariners Youth Hockey, LA Kings High School League, CSUN and Cal Lutheran College Hockey. At our training center, we offer instruction in hockey, figure skating, off-ice strength training and agility, curling, speed skating, synchronized skating, and ice theater. To accommodate our wide range of instruction, we have two separate sheets of ice: an NHL-sized rink and an Olympic-sized rink. At our training center, we strive to provide our athletes with the best instruction available. Nestled in the picturesque Simi Valley, CA, the Sinaloa Golf Course is a gem managed by the Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District. The golf course boasts a 9-hole, Par 27 layout spread across 1088 yards from the back tees. Since its inauguration in 1958, Sinaloa has seen a series of renovations, the most recent being in 1996, masterminded by golf course designers Cal Olsen and Geoff Shackelford, Dave Axland, and Dan Proctor. Sinaloa Golf Course extends a warm welcome to all - from juniors and seniors to families and golf enthusiasts of varying skills and experience levels. In the mid-1950s, Harvard professor Frankie Goodman founded Kid Gloves, a program that taught children of all ages. From four-year-olds to street-wise teens, Goodman taught his students the importance of a healthy mind and body, and gave them respect for themselves and each other. He even had a gym in Van Nuys, California, where he trained professionals, including the great Cassius Clay, later known as Muhammed Ali. Tragically, Frankie passed away, but he left the Kid Gloves trademark and exclusive rights to the Kid Gloves philosophy to Robert Ortiz. Robert started Kid Gloves Boxing in his backyard in Simi Valley, California, in the 1990s. To help disadvantaged youth, he started the Kid Gloves Foundation in November of 1997. Located in Center Court at the Simi Town Center, the foundation offers troubled youth the chance to experience success and gives them choices when they are most vulnerable to the pressures of the street. Today, the Kid Gloves Boxing Foundation continues to carry on the legacy of Frankie Goodman, offering a safe and supportive environment for kids to learn the importance of respect and healthy living. It is a testament to the founder’s commitment to giving back to the community.
