For the past sixty years, YSC has been dedicated to providing local youth with a museum and natural science center. Founded in 1961, the organization has continually evolved to meet the changing needs of young people. YSC moved to Bixby Elementary in 2014, offering more space for programs and exhibits. YSC is committed to excellence in science and math education and strives to inform, instruct, and inspire people of all ages and backgrounds to appreciate the wonders of science and technology. With sixty years of service under its belt, YSC continues to be a leader in science and math education in the local area. YSC believes in the power of science and math education and has dedicated itself to creating a space for young people to explore and discover the excitement of these fields. For the past sixty years, YSC has been encouraging students to expand their knowledge of science and technology and to think critically about the world around them.

At AYSO, we prioritize the development of each and every child who takes to the soccer field. We understand that it's important for each player to have the opportunity to learn the game, so we ensure that every player gets at least 50 percent playing time. That way, they can truly develop their skills and, most importantly, have fun. We also want to help each player build their confidence and gain a greater appreciation for the sport. With our child-first approach, we are dedicated to bringing out the best in every player and helping them grow. For more than 30 years, Young Champions has been a leader in youth programming, providing instruction in martial arts/self-defense, cheerleading, dance, soccer and basketball. Thousands of children and teenagers have been given the opportunity to learn and grow in a supportive environment. At Young Champions, we understand the importance of physical activity for physical and mental well-being. Through our martial arts/self-defense, cheerleading, dance, soccer and basketball programs, we strive to help young people develop their skills and build confidence. We are proud to have helped thousands of children and teens reach their full potential.

We are delighted to offer baseball to boys and girls ages 4-14 and softball to girls ages 7-12. Our team of experienced coaches emphasizes the importance of having fun while learning the skills and fundamentals of the game. We strive to foster a sense of pride and respect for the game as well as the other players. At Hacienda Heights Little League, we not only want our players to learn the fundamental skills of the game, but we also want to develop a sense of sportsmanship and teamwork. We encourage parents to cheer on all players, not just their own child, and to promote good sportsmanship. We believe that this will help create a strong and supportive environment for the players.

Hsi Lai Temple, the North American Regional Headquarters of Fo Guang Shan, was built to serve as a spiritual and cultural center for those interested in learning more about Buddhism and Chinese culture. It is the intention of its founder, Venerable Master Hsing Yun, to propagate Humanistic Buddhism and to create a Pure Land here on earth. Hsi Lai Temple is built to fulfill these goals in the United States. Situated in Hacienda Heights in the Los Angeles county, Hsi Lai Temple is one of the largest Buddhist temples in North America. The temple’s foundational ideology is Humanistic Buddhism which seeks to propagate Buddhist teachings through education, cultural outreach, community services, and spiritual practice. In this pursuit, Hsi Lai Temple has hosted numerous local and international events, including Chinese Spring Festival which, during its two week period, welcomes an average of 20,000 visitors per day.
