At Waterworks Aquatics Carlsbad, we believe that swimming is an important life skill that everyone should learn. ” GACA (Golf Autism Community Alliance) was founded in 2011 to provide support and resources to children living with autism. Today, 1 in 68 children are living with this disability, and GACA has a vision to use golf to facilitate social interaction and skills in these children. Initially started by Rich Amano, Charlene Marson, and Tammy Marson, GACA is actively targeting and executing events and activities to facilitate its mission, “Building Life Skills Through Golf.” Currently, GACA is working in close collaboration with volunteers to promote and expand its mission. GACA was formed in 2011 with the goal of aiding and supporting children with autism in improving their social, motor, coordination, and golf skills. Recent estimates indicate that 1 in 68 children are living with autism, and GACA has developed a plan to use golf as a tool for helping with social interaction and skill development. This organization was originally started by Rich Amano, Charlene Marson, and Tammy Marson, and GACA has taken a number of steps to realize its vision. Currently, GACA is working with volunteers to expand its mission of “Building Life Skills Through Golf.” GACA was established in 2011 with the mission of providing assistance and support to children with autism in the areas of social, motor, and coordination skills, as well as golf. At present, it is estimated that 1 in 68 children is living with autism, and GACA has set out to use golf as a way to facilitate social interaction and skill building. At IceTown Carlsbad, we use the Learn To Skate USA program for our Skating Academy. The Learn To Skate USA program is designed to be the best beginner’s ice skating program that serves the needs of both the recreational and competitive skater. Through this program, our coaching staff helps skaters achieve their goals, whether they be Olympic fame or simply to enjoy the recreational benefits of skating. Classes are grouped by age and ability and depending on your level, classes are 30 minutes. There are five weeks during the year that classes are not held: Memorial Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Year. The monthly payments are due every month and are based on an average of 47 classes per year.

Luther Gage was an early settler and horticulturist who settled in the area in the early 1920’s and brought ranunculus seeds with him. Not long after, he began growing them in his fields next to Frank Frazee’s small vegetable farm in South Oceanside. In 1933, Frank Frazee also started growing ranunculus and introduced his son Edwin to the practice of seeding, cultivating and irrigating the flower. At the tender age of 16, Edwin Frazee quit high school to work full time on his father’s flower operation, which was quickly expanding in popularity. Now, 85 years later, the Fields are a direct result of the hard work and dedication of Luther Gage and the Frazee family. The Frazee fields are the epitome of perseverance and dedication, showcasing the impact that Luther Gage and the Frazee family have had on the floral world. Through their hard work and commitment, they have created a legacy that will live on for generations to come.

The NCJGA was founded in 1965 by PGA golf professional David Emerick and his family. In 1997, the organization was revived with a focus on introducing young golfers to the sport. The NCJGA offers a variety of experiences to golfers of all ages and skill levels - from tournaments and clinics to camps and lessons. No matter what their current skill level, the NCJGA provides an opportunity for junior golfers to develop a lifelong passion for the game. The organization's wide range of programs are designed to meet the needs of any level of golfer, from beginner to national level player. With the NCJGA, your junior golfer can gain the skills and knowledge needed to make golf a part of their life for years to come. Whether they are just starting out or already competing at the highest level, the NCJGA has something to offer.

Surfin Fire has been in business since 1997, offering family-friendly surfing experiences. Privately permitted and insured, the business is owned and operated by the passionate Jon Peterson. He loves nothing more than sharing the joys of surfing with others, and can often be seen on the sand teaching lessons or coaching school kids. JP's daughters are also devoted surfers and have recently achieved top honors in the ISF & WSA competition series. This is a great source of pride for JP, and he's always there to encourage them as they continue to improve their skills. At Surfin Fire, JP is dedicated to making the surfing experience safe and enjoyable for people of all ages. With his enthusiasm and commitment, he is sure to continue making a positive impact on the world of surfing and beyond.
