About Golf for Autistic Children in America (GACA) in Carlsbad, CA

” GACA (Golf Autism Community Alliance) was founded in 2011 to provide support and resources to children living with autism. Today, 1 in 68 children are living with this disability, and GACA has a vision to use golf to facilitate social interaction and skills in these children. Initially started by Rich Amano, Charlene Marson, and Tammy Marson, GACA is actively targeting and executing events and activities to facilitate its mission, “Building Life Skills Through Golf.” Currently, GACA is working in close collaboration with volunteers to promote and expand its mission. GACA was formed in 2011 with the goal of aiding and supporting children with autism in improving their social, motor, coordination, and golf skills. Recent estimates indicate that 1 in 68 children are living with autism, and GACA has developed a plan to use golf as a tool for helping with social interaction and skill development. This organization was originally started by Rich Amano, Charlene Marson, and Tammy Marson, and GACA has taken a number of steps to realize its vision. Currently, GACA is working with volunteers to expand its mission of “Building Life Skills Through Golf.” GACA was established in 2011 with the mission of providing assistance and support to children with autism in the areas of social, motor, and coordination skills, as well as golf. At present, it is estimated that 1 in 68 children is living with autism, and GACA has set out to use golf as a way to facilitate social interaction and skill building.
