At Visionary Arts, we are passionate about teaching traditional realistic art techniques and skills to students of all ages. We have classes for students aged 4 and up, with a focus on helping them to develop their own creativity. Our curriculum includes an introduction to composition, color theory, value (shading), proportions and perspectives, design theory, concept art, art history, as well as painting and drawing techniques. All employees are required to take the Safe Sport course to understand the requirements of the “SafeSport Code for the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Movements” and federal laws, including the “Protecting Young Victims and Safe Sport Authorization Act of 2017.” At WVGS, the safety and well-being of our athletes is paramount. We understand the importance of the USA Gymnastics Safe Sport Policy, and we ensure that all employees have the knowledge to abide by its requirements. The policy is based on the “SafeSport Code for the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Movements” and federal laws, such as the “Protecting Young Victims and Safe Sport Authorization Act of 2017.” All employees must take the Safe Sport course to understand the policy and its implications.
