At Yu Ying Learning Center, our mission is to provide a safe, supportive and stimulating environment to meet the educational goals of our students. Our after school focuses on structured academics as well as a two-way immersion Mandarin Chinese program that teaches language through educational and interactive methods. To ensure our students excel in math and reading, we use Accelerated Math & Accelerated Reader to give each student personalized learning and differentiated instruction. This allows teachers and parents to monitor and assess academic progress online and make data-driven decisions to guide each student to success. In addition, we offer a variety of elective classes and fun activities such as Ballet, Karate, Jazz, Chess and private one-to-one enrichment classes.

Our gardening campers will spend the time immersed in the delights of working with materials and of engaging in  creative activities related to gardening and growing.   What better setting to even sow and watch little friendships blossom! 



GARDENING and GROWING Summer Camp (2-5 years)

Mrs. Yuan’s art activities are based on plots and themes, depicting images captured in the story of the day. Students will learn modern art concepts and artistic techniques. Your child can benefit from artistic exploration by thinking creatively and independently, practicing decision-making skills, and learning how to use a variety of materials.

In this class children will develop skills in discerning the changes of line, purposes of color matching, designing shapes of objects, and enriching the picture with a variety of materials and painting tools. The mediums for this class will include, paper collage, watercolor, oil pastel drawings, and painting.

Yu Ying Learning Center

At home, I made vain attempts to persuade my kid to speak Chinese. However, after spending two weeks at the facility, he became really interested in speaking Chinese and singing Chinese songs. I was astounded by his attitude shift. I adore the director and the teachers there because they work so hard to develop my son's character as well as his Chinese language proficiency.
