In 1992, Miss Michaela Lynch had a vision for a dance school that would bring together students of all ages and abilities. That dream became a reality with the introduction of the Dance Arts Project at Harbor Bay Club in Alameda. With 50 eager and enthusiastic dancers, the school was off to a great start.
The success of the Dance Arts Project didn't go unnoticed. In July 1993, the school opened its grand doors on Chestnut Street, where it continues to offer classes in ballet, children's creative movement, modern dance and ballroom dance. Today, Dance Arts Project is proud to have served generations of students, and we are looking forward to many more years of bringing joy to the Bay Area through dance.
