Blue Lake United Methodist Assembly began as a dream in the 1940s, but in 1951, the first campers got the chance to experience the beauty of Blue Lake. Instead of modern cabins, they had to make do with tents and a campfire for their meals.
Fast-forward to today, and Blue Lake United Methodist Assembly has grown into a bustling destination for campers of all ages. Three modern camps, Pinewood, Dogwood, and Oakwood, provide a total of 525 beds for overnight guests. The Assembly also serves as a retreat center for church and youth groups, and can accommodate special needs guests.
