Since 1973, the Sitka Fine Arts Camp (SFAC) has been providing Alaskan youth with a unique opportunity to explore the arts. With many remote communities in the state, young people often have limited or no access to quality arts programs. It is SFAC’s mission to provide these youth with the chance to gain exposure and training in the arts.
SFAC has grown into a program of national recognition, with over one thousand students attending annually from Alaska and beyond. Young people are now able to interact with professional artists and gain a greater appreciation for the arts. It is clear that SFAC’s mission of providing access to the arts has been successful and is continuing to make a difference in the lives of many.
For students entering 1st-6th grades in 2022-2023 school year.
