Since 1957, Waukesha Civic Theatre has been providing quality live theatre performances and educational opportunities to the community of Waukesha. Founded on the stage of Waukesha High School, WCT has since moved to a building on 506 North Washington Avenue, where it has been operating for over 50 years. With the addition of the Penny Players in 1976, WCT has been able to offer a summer musical to its docket as well.
WCT is a non-profit corporation with a mission to engage, entertain, enrich, and challenge the Waukesha community. We are proud to have so many dedicated volunteers, patrons, Board of Directors, and staff members that work together to bring the best live theatre to the community. WCT is a staple of the Waukesha area, and we hope to continue to provide excellent theatre for many years to come.

Acting Up Ages 4 – 5 (Classes $75 each)
From script study to character development to voice and movement, students will be fully engaged learning how to bring a script to life on stage.
BeAKid
Create a Play Ages 6-8 (Classes $150 each)
Students will move to the music of Broadway as they build their dance and movement skills.
BeAKid
Light! Camera! Action! (Ages: 9 – 18)
Students enrolled in our acting program will audition for and be cast in one of the 10 minute scripts. Working with the student directors and our professional mentors, these creative teams will learn what it takes to bring a script to life on stage.
