Our mixed-age preschool classes are taught by licensed teachers with degrees in education.  Our teachers work to develop a nurturing atmosphere and create a curriculum tailored to meet the individual needs of each student. 

At our preschool, we value play as an important learning tool.  Our educational model focuses on independent thinking and encourages children to explore their natural environment.  Our nature based curriculum allows students and teachers to learn together year round with plenty of outdoor exploration.  We have nature trails, a nature center, and a nature classroom to provide a unique learning experience.  We also have a large, fenced in playground with a fun and safe structure and lots of grassy areas to play. 

Our preschool is dedicated to preparing children for kindergarten.  We believe that the best way to prepare for the academic challenges of elementary school is to focus on developing critical thinking skills and problem-solving strategies.  We strive to provide a stimulating, nurturing environment that encourages children to explore their natural curiosity and reach their fullest potential.  Our teachers use age-appropriate activities and materials to help develop the skills necessary for kindergarten success.

Field Trips

Program is using this wrap around approach to enhance learning in all areas of science and the natural world around us. Our school sits on just over 22 acres of land, with an outdoor classroom and several groomed trails.  Our nature center is a favorite for our preschoolers.  There, they can run, play imaginatively, dig, get dirty, investigate nature, and just “be a kid.”  Our young learners are truly nurtured by nature in our environment.
