Small World Child Care Center is committed to providing the best possible care for your child. Our center was created to provide a safe and nurturing environment that promotes your child's individual physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Our teachers are all highly experienced in creating a stimulating learning environment that will help your child reach their full potential. 

Our teachers are trained to interact with your child on the floor to observe and document their progress. This allows us to create individualized goals for your child so they can learn and develop to the best of their abilities. We take playtime seriously here at Small World and use it as a teaching tool to help your child learn and grow.

In our Infant Program, the curriculum guides the development of a daily schedule that is predictable yet flexible. Our group schedule is built around each child’s individual rhythms of eating, sleeping, exploring, and need for action. We are sure to keep the environment warm, engaging, responsive, and sanitary.



INFANTS

In our Toddler and Two-Year-Old Program, we celebrate and encourage a flexible, daily schedule that allows the child to feel safe, secure, and develop independence and social competence. We incorporate time for play, creative expression, large and small group activities, and self-initiated learning experiences.



TODDLERS & TWO-YEAR-OLDS

In our Preschool Program, we celebrate the uniqueness of each child. We plan for a wide range of hands on learning activities. These activities are created through observations made of the children’s individual interest and needs. The experiences provided define their social/emotional, physical, cognitive, sensory, and language development.



PRESCHOOL

In our School-Age Program, we offer opportunities for fun and learning in a safe and nurturing environment. The program is located in the elementary school cafeteria so that transitions are easier and there are never any worries about transportation . We offer academic and recreational programs for children before and after school that will teach them the tools to become creative, responsible, and caring individuals. Special programs are offered for early-release, non-school days, and summer break.

Small World Child Care Center

We are overjoyed that our daughter is presently enrolled at Little World. She could count to ten at the age of two, knew her colors, and knew the ABCs. Some of the phrases she uses, especially when they're in context, are beyond belief. Every time I pick her up from school, she is playing and grinning. They occasionally include images in the emails they send to you detailing their daily activities. Friends of mine are envious of the emails I get practically every day. The teachers are outstanding, and Lisa will go above and beyond to ensure that the children and families are satisfied. They have been in operation for so long for a purpose.
