Steve V10/10/20225I often think back on my North Star adventures and the relationships I formed. From my first summer in 1973, the concepts Lou and Renee developed have been a part of who I am. Among the many things I discovered at NSC were compassion, empathy, fair play, competitiveness, thinking, respect for, and enjoyment of nature. It is understandable why so many former campers and staff members have purchased and operated camps, continuing the Rosenblum legacy.
Jhon P10/11/20225Nothing in my life has had a greater impact on me than my summers at North Star Camp, where I spent eight years as a camper and four years as a counselor. NSC promotes diversity, fosters lifelong learning, and embraces individual differences. I now get to see firsthand the impact camp is having on my kid as the proud parent of a North Star camper (and one more in the future).
Benjie P09/06/20225Fantastic staff, a terrific location, and an awesome travel schedule. Overall, a nice spot to take your kids to get them away from the city and experience childhood.
Rojan M11/14/20225This camp is fantastic. My son, who is spending his fifth summer, adores it. One knows the other. He had a bicycling accident this summer, and I am astonished at how efficiently the camp handled the situation and kept in touch with me. They exceeded my expectations with their performance. I am incredibly appreciative to have such a wonderful, knowledgeable, and kind team. They treat all the campers like members of their family. I will always have a particular place in my heart for Northstar. Words cannot adequately describe my thanks and love for these people.
Stanley C09/20/20225I had the good fortune to work at North Star for eight years, first as a camper, then as a CIT, JC, and last as a Tripper. The best years of my life were those. At North Star, I made friends and acquired skills that have stayed with me and helped me throughout my life. More valuable than a postgraduate degree from a university was North Star Camp.
