At First Act Children's Theatre, LLC, we provide outstanding theatre instruction to children in grades 1-12 in the Madison area. Our camps and classes strive to foster the development of imagination, self-esteem, and creative expression for all our students. We offer year-round programs, with a focus on acting, choreography, vocals, and creative movement. Our ultimate goal is to provide an environment where children can explore and express themselves through the art of theatre.

Summer Drama Quest Camps
Drama Quest classes are the perfect experience for imaginative students of all theatre levels, and provide the opportunity to create an original play! Given a title and a prompt, students are guided through creating their own story and characters. Once the play is developed, rehearsals begin! Students assist in creating props, set pieces and meet with a costumer to create their costumes! At the end of the week, everything culminates in a showcase performance for family and friends!

Summer Production Camps
First Act's Summer Production Camps offer a full week focused on developing a scripted play. Students dive into the theatrical and creative process through workshops which give students the opportunity to participate in audition training, acting techniques, stage combat, movement, set and props creation, makeup and costume design and challenging rehearsals for a fully staged summer production. No preparation is necessary; all students receive a role and attend rehearsals culminating in two fully staged and costumed performances.
