About FCYD Camp UTADA

At FCYD Camp UTADA, we strive to provide a fun, safe, educational, and medically supervised camping experience for children and youth with diabetes. Our mission is to help our campers develop an understanding of their disease and to build positive lifestyles that will enable them to reach their full potential. Our campers learn how to manage their diabetes and how to live a healthy and active lifestyle. Through educational activities and structured programs, campers gain a greater sense of independence, self-confidence, and self-esteem resulting in increased self-management of their diabetes. FCYD Camp UTADA has been providing quality diabetes camping experiences for over fifty years. We are proud to be accredited by the American Camping Association and a member camp of the Diabetes Education and Camping Association. Our goal is to ensure that our campers have an enjoyable, safe, and memorable camping experience. At FCYD Camp UTADA, we believe in providing a fun and engaging environment that will enable campers to develop a better understanding of their diabetes and to foster a greater sense of independence and self-confidence. Our campers learn how to manage their diabetes and how to lead healthy and active lifestyles. Through educational activities, structured programs, and medically supervised care, our campers develop a greater understanding of their diabetes and how to live a healthy and active lifestyle. We strive to ensure that our campers have a safe and enjoyable experience that allows them to reach their full potential.

Summer Camp

The Foundation for Children and Youth with Diabetes, Inc. (FCYD) is a not for profit, 501c3 charitable organization registered in the State of Utah that operates Utah's diabetes camp, FCYD Camp UTADA.

Winter Camp

FCYD Camp UTADA was established in 1962. FCYD Camp UTADA diabetes camping programs are accredited by the American Camping Association and a member camp of the Diabetes Education and Camping Association.
