Joe Hardin's dream of owning his own music shop came to fruition in February of 2015 when Downtown Music opened its doors. With over 20 years of teaching experience, Joe has been able to craft a shop that offers a fully immersive musical experience including lessons, instruments, and sheet music.

The shop has received an incredible level of support from the community since its opening, and Joe and his staff hope to continue to serve as a favorite music destination for years to come. Downtown Music is proud to offer a warm and welcoming atmosphere for musicians of all skill levels to learn, grow, and make music.

We offer lessons in: Violin, Guitar, Bass, Viola, Mandolin, Piano, Voice, Dobro, Cello, Ukelele, Harp or Autoharp, Harmonica, Banjo. The cost is $90/month for 4 half hour lessons (once a week). We offer a family discount, where multiple lessons are only $85/month. We pride ourselves on our teacher’s knowledge as well as the fun we create. Music should be an enjoyed experience, so along with technical ability and understanding of music theory, we also know how to have a great time!
