The Mary C. Canty Recreation Center is managed by the Parks, Recreation & Sports Tourism Department and is one of the city's four recreation centers. Parents and their children will be thrilled to find out there is a wide variety of exercise options available, including an Aquatic Center, a Banquet Room, a Cardio Room, Exercise Classes, an Exercise Program, a Gymnasium, and a Weight Room with both Free Weights and Machines. 

At Mary C. Canty Recreation Center, there's something for everyone. Whether you're looking for an aquatic workout or a game of basketball in the gymnasium, you'll find it here. Exercise classes offer a variety of options, from yoga to kickboxing, and the Cardio Room is equipped with treadmills, ellipticals, stair climbers, and more. There is also a Weight Room with free weights and machines so you can get the most out of your workout.

Parents can rest assured knowing that Mary C. Canty Recreation Center is a safe and enjoyable place for their kids. With a banquet room on-site, parties and special events can be hosted as well. Mary C. Canty Recreation Center' covid precautions and practices have me extremely impressed! The Pepper Geddings team, especially Kirk Gallion, deserves praise for ensuring that the kids can play winter basketball this season. We are so appreciative of everything you do to make it possible for our children to play, including limiting crowd size at the games, altering entrances and exits, temperature checks, using masks, and disinfecting in between games.
