At Palmetto City Ballet (PCB), we’re proud to offer both a professional dance company and an academy to our community. With our pre-professional and recreational tracks, PCB School provides a clear pathway for our young artists to learn, grow, and reach for their dreams. We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to help our students reach their goals right here in their home town.

We’re grateful for the unwavering support of our dancers, students, teachers, and families. We’re also thankful for the love and encouragement the community has shown us. By partnering with PCB School and the company, we’re able to bring high quality live performances to the area. It’s our pleasure to provide this opportunity to our community.

Go on a thrilling adventure with the smallest of girls, Thumbelina, to distant lands with a cast of silly creatures that she meets along the way. Fitting in or finding your way is never an easy task but with some patience the answers seem to come to you. A tenderly compiled score by Sandra Nikolajevs and imaginative sets will capture the magic of this classic story where finding your true love is always possible and where every fairy eventually gets their wings. Music by Dvorak, Mozart, Respighi, Schubert, and Schumann.

Each day begins with a ballet technique class followed by additional classes that may include pointe, classical variations, Pilate’s conditioning, contemporary, jazz and choreography.  Students will have the option to enroll in 1 week, 2 weeks, or in the case of the advanced intensive the full 3 weeks.
