About Outdoor Adventure Center - NWS in Goose Creek, SC

The 628th Force Support Squadron is dedicated to providing the best quality of life and combat capabilities to the Air Force and its members. They provide a range of services, including force development, resource management, manpower and personnel, family readiness, child and youth development, and morale, welfare and recreation (MWR) programs. These services are available to over 80,000 active duty personnel, their families, retirees, DOD civilians, and reservists, both on the airbase and weapons station and when deployed around the world. The squadron is committed to providing the highest quality services to the Air Force and its members, enabling them to fulfill their mission of national security.

Youth Programs - (5 - 18 Yrs)

The Joint Base Charleston School-Age Program (SAC) offers programs for children from the ages of 5 to 12. SAC's programming is available before and after school and all day during school holidays, teacher in-service days and during school vacations for elementary and middle school children. Transportation is offered to and from various schools in the North Charleston and Goose Creek area. The program is closed for all Federal Holidays.

Child Development Center - (6 Wks - 5 Yrs)

The CDC strives to provide a safe and nurturing environment while promoting the physical, emotional and intellectual development of young children. Care offered includes developmental and educational care for older infants, toddlers and preschool children ranging in age from 6 months to 5 years.
