Located in Bennettsville, SC, Sandy Ridge is owned and operated by Girl Scouts of Eastern South Carolina and sits on over 400 acres of beautiful sand hills. It is the perfect spot for Girl Scouts to take part in summer resident camp programs, troop camping opportunities, training, and outdoor events and overnights for girls and adult volunteers.
Sandy Ridge includes sleeping units, swimming pool, two lakes, watercraft, an archery range, sports field, a clay pit and a climate-controlled dining hall. Animals are also part of the camp's program and donations of aquariums, animal cages, animal supplies, and animal food are always appreciated. Day camp is for Girl Scouts in kindergarten and up, with activities on three or more consecutive days for four hours or more. The occasional overnight camp may be offered.

Weekend camp is for Girl Scouts in kindergarten and up, and typically lasts for two days and one overnight. Weekend camps are planned and carried out by a group of Girl Scouts and volunteers, using council-approved camp sites.

Resident camp is for Girl Scouts who have finished kindergarten. Girl Scouts camp for three to fourteen days and nights (the average is five nights). They plan activities with their counselors and volunteers, using resources available at the campsite.
